Liverpool Fans Should Be Careful of What They Wish For Because It May Come True

As Liverpool slumped to yet one more defeat, on this, the best wretched of seasons, their fans chanted the name of the man they need to replace Roy Hodgson. None besides Kenny Dalglish. However, the very fans chanting that name should be careful of what they wish for.

There is no denying; Liverpool FC has endured a brutal start to the season. 16 points after 13 games with a goal difference of -4 isn't something that is generally equated with the once great club. Anfield has enjoyed nights where league campaigns were won and lost, it has seen some of the greatest European football nights of all time and has had a few of the games greatest managers pound it's touchlines as they screamed orders to sides brought up on trophies and professionalism of the very best order.
To observe their side struggling so must be painful. It is difficult to bear but it is the price the club must pay for 20 years of bad management at the highest level of the club. Ever since Kenny Dalglish resigned on the 22nd of February 1991 the Reds have stumbled from one manager to the next. While they may have taken pleasure in some memorable cup wins during the last 19 years or so, they have never really come close to replicating the dynasty that was in days gone by.

The emergence of Tom Hicks and George Gillett in early 2007 had many Liverpool fans believing that those halcyon days were going to return. The club had just won the Champions League in 2005 and so the FA Cup in 2006 under Rafael Benitez and was also expected to make its first concerted push for that title in some time. The news that Benitez would be given more funds to continue his early work was greeted with some cheer on the ranks of the Kop. However, just three years later and Benitez would be parting company with the club after years of political in-fighting and seeing LFC drop out of the top four for the first time in years.

Kendra Dishes About Her New 'Playboy' Photos on 'Lopez'

Former 'Girls Next Door' star Kendra Wilkinson is appearing on the cover from the 'Playboy' holiday issue, and has an eight-page nude pictorial inside the magazine as well. But Kendra is currently married to NFL football player Hank Baskett, and has promised her husband that she wouldn't appear in any further naked photographs. So, did Kendra return on her word? Is her marriage in trouble? 'Lopez Tonight' (weeknights, 12AM ET on TBS) has the scoop.

Host George Lopez praises Kendra for her scantily-clad cover shot, but wonders how she got away with it. It turns out that each one the sexy photos are vintage -- they were taken "about three years" ago, that the model didn't break her marriage vow. Kendra adds that Hank didn't force her to surrender nude modeling -- it had been a promise she made according to her own personal decision. Ms. Wilkinson/Baskett says being shot inside the nude is part of her past. "It's a new time in my life now; it could kinda be like going back to high school."

Right. Although Kendra wasn't actually a 'Playboy' bunny in high school, she did start appearing naked for the 84-year-old Hugh Hefner when she was only 18, and lived with him inside Playboy Mansion for four years. So her time as a playmate basically corresponds to the time she would have spent in college. Except there was -- you know -- less dashing off to classes, and more sleeping having a man who was old enough to be her great-grandfather.

Buffalo Bills vs. Cincinnati Bengals: Week 11 Matchup and Keys Towards the Game

This Sunday, the Buffalo Bills will tour to face the Cincinnati Bengals in a game title that sports as unsightly a contest as you could potentially find, if you ever go purely through the standings. Both teams are at the bottom of their division and their combined records are 3-15. Not exactly your Sunday Night or Monday Night marquis match up, as this is the contest between the two worst records inside the AFC Conference.

The Bills, still, are coming over emotional high of their first win from the year against the Detroit Lions and want to prove that it wasn't a one-game wonder. One more win would prove the Bills have actually turned a corner and their improved play will continue to show just that; that they are a better team than they initially displayed.

What better opponent for the Bills to do this against than the Bengals, who've dropped six straight contests, and are the only team inside NFL that does not have a win of their past five games. Looks like the Bills finally caught a clear stage in the schedule. Hence, let's explore what this contest looks to boil down to. Continue on with all the slide show.
